"My mission as a commercial broker and property manager, is to utilize my skills, knowledge, and twenty years of real estate experience to enable my clients and customers to achieve their goals and objectives, whether buying, selling, owning or leasing real estate."
Gayla's career in real estate began in Houston in 1976 where she co-owned and managed two offices with more than 40 associates. In 1985 she moved to Norman, Oklahoma, obtained her Oklahoma broker's license and continued her career in commercial real estate. Gayla's positive attitude makes her a pleasure to work with. Her vast experience in all areas of real estate gives her a terrific edge over the competition.
In addition to being active in the market, she is also active in her community and holds membership in the following organizations:
"With over 20 years in the retail business, Rainey brings a merchant's perspective to retail leasing and site selection, matching the right merchant, restaurant, or office tenant to the right location and landlord." A life long resident of Norman, Rainey graduated Norman High School in 1972 and received a Bachelor in Business Administration from the University of Oklahoma in 1975.
Joining the Equity Team in 2001, Rainey's career in commercial real estate began while serving as Harolds Stores Inc. President and COO. Rainey was responsible for site selection and lease negotiations for what would become Harold's Stores Inc. (53 stores in 21 states). With over 20 years in the retail business, Rainey brings a merchant's perspective to retail leasing and site selection.
Rainey has been instrumental in the redevelopment and revitalization of Norman's Historic Campus Corner. In 2001 the City of Norman passed its first Tax Increment Finance District for the Campus Corner.
"Matching the right merchant, restaurant, or office tenant to the right location and landlord is critical to the long term success of both a landlord and tenant."
After spending nearly four years as the Director of Member Services and Sales at the Norman Chamber of Commerce, Mark Hyde joined the Equity TEAM in January 2006.
While at the Chamber, Hyde refined his skills in business and relationship building while orchestrating three record-breaking Membership Drives and overseeing networking programs such as Business After Hours, Business Before Hours, Tomorrow’s Leaders (for high school sophomores), and Leadership Norman.
“I feel my strengths lie in relationship building and just treating people the right way,” said Hyde. “It’s extremely important to me to be diligent in my approach to business, ethical in all things in life, and fair to everyone I come in contact with.”
Hyde learned the importance of servant leadership while in college at St. Gregory’s University in Shawnee and has made it a point to do his part to impact the community. He is currently a member of the Norman Kiwanis Club, having recently served a term on its board of directors and currently acts as their golf tournament chairperson and as an advisor to the Norman High Key Club. He also serves as the public address announcer for the University of Oklahoma’s women’s basketball team and the play-by-play radio voice of the Shawnee Wolves. A newlywed, Hyde enjoys spending his free time with his pregnant wife Candice and their Labrador mix Cyrus.
